DMCA & Intellectual Property Policy

Last Updated: August 2026

At UVict (accessible via https://uvict.com), this page covers who owns what on our site, what you may do with it, and how to tell us if you believe something here infringes your rights.

Headwear is a category where designs, logos, and photographs travel quickly and not always with permission. We take that seriously in both directions: we do not want anyone else's work on our listings, and we would like our own photography to stay ours.

By using our website you agree to the terms below. If you believe your work appears here without authorization, email [email protected] and we will act on it quickly.

2. Ownership of Site Content

The text, product photography, page layout, and logos on https://uvict.com are owned by us or used with the permission of the party that owns them. Copyright and trademark law protects them whether or not a notice appears on the individual page.

3. Limited Permission for Personal Use

You may view our pages, share links to them, and save or print a page for your own personal, non-commercial reference. You may not copy our product descriptions or photography onto another storefront, marketplace listing, or advertisement, and you may not use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse something we do not.

4. Respect for Third-Party Rights

Our listings do not use third-party brand names, logos, or trademarked design elements to describe or promote our products. If you spot something on our site that looks like it borrows from a brand or a photographer, tell us. We would rather hear it from you than from a lawyer, and we will look at it the same day.

5. Submitting a DMCA Notice

If you own a copyright, or are authorized to act for the owner, and believe material on our site infringes it, send a written notice to [email protected] including all six of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
  3. Identification of the material on our site you say is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it, such as the full page address
  4. Your contact information, including a mailing address and an email address
  5. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf

6. What Happens Next

On receiving a complete notice we remove or disable access to the material while we review it, and we notify whoever supplied it. A notice missing one of the six items above slows everything down, so if something is missing we will write back and ask for it rather than leaving the notice in limbo.

7. Counter-Notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, send a counter-notice to [email protected] containing all six of the following:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, mailing address, and email address
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district where your address is located, or where our address is located if you are outside the United States
  6. A statement that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice

We forward a valid counter-notice to the original complainant. If they do not file a court action within the period allowed by law, we may restore the material.

8. Repeat Infringers

Where a party repeatedly supplies infringing material, we terminate their access and remove their listings entirely rather than handling each instance separately.

9. Misrepresentation

Section 512(f) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act makes a person liable for damages if they knowingly misrepresent that material is infringing, or knowingly misrepresent that material was removed by mistake. Both directions of that rule apply to notices sent to us.

10. Changes to This Policy

We update this page when our process changes. The revision month appears under the page title. Related terms about site use are on our Terms of Service.

11. Intellectual Property Questions

Notices, counter-notices, and licensing questions all come to the same address, and a person reads every one.
