At UVict (accessible via https://uvict.com), this policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who else ever sees it, and how long it stays with us.
Buying a cap or a beanie requires very little information: a name, an address to ship to, and a way to reach you if something goes wrong. We built our process around collecting that and not much else, because data we never hold is data that can never be exposed.

2. Information We Collect
- Identification details. Name, email address, shipping address, and billing address.
- Order details. Items purchased, order history, and transaction references.
- Payment confirmation. The result of the transaction and the last four digits of a card where the gateway supplies them. Full card numbers never reach us.
- Technical data. IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and time on page.
- Correspondence. Messages you send us through the contact form or by email.
3. How We Use It

4. How We Share It
- PayPal. To process your payment securely.
- Carriers. USPS, UPS, and FedEx receive your name and delivery address so the parcel can arrive.
- Service providers. Hosting, email delivery, and analytics providers who act on our instructions under confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities. Where we are legally required to disclose, and no further than the requirement extends.
5. Cookies
Our site uses cookies to keep your cart intact between pages, to remember preferences, and to understand traffic patterns. What each type does and how to switch them off is covered on our Cookie Policy.
6. Data Retention
Order records are kept for 7 years, which is what tax and accounting rules require of a US retailer. Contact form messages and support emails are kept for 12 months and then deleted. Technical analytics data is retained in aggregate form, without identifying individuals.
7. Security
The site runs over an encrypted SSL connection, payment data is handled entirely inside PayPal's PCI DSS compliant environment, and access to order records here is limited to the people who need it to pack and support orders. No system is absolutely secure, and we will not pretend otherwise, but we hold as little as possible so that there is as little as possible to lose.
8. Your Rights

- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate or incomplete
- Ask us to delete your personal information where no legal duty requires us to keep it
- Opt out of marketing messages at any time
Email [email protected] to exercise any of these. We respond within a reasonable timeframe, and we will tell you plainly if a legal retention duty prevents us from deleting something.
9. Marketing Communications
We only send marketing email to people who opted in. Every message carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately, and unsubscribing never affects the transactional emails about an order you have already placed.
10. Children
Our website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-Party Links
Where we link to a site we do not run, their privacy practices govern what happens there. We encourage you to read the policy of any site you move to from ours.
12. Changes to This Policy
We update this page as our practices change. The revision month appears under the page title, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
